This comes a little late but anyways, last two weeks have been quite hectic
with Debian i18n worksession in Extremadura, Spain, OOoConf2006 – Lyon, France & Freedel’06
In short its been something like this:
5th: Depart for Paris CDG from Delhi
6th:
- 6:30am: Arrive at Paris CDG, Terminal 2F
- 7am: Move to 2A, look out for Friedel
- 10:30am: Depart for Madrid
- 12:30pm: Arrive at Madrid Barajas T1
- 1pm: Move to T4 where everyone arriving is to gather.
- 2pm: All arrived leave for sightseeing in city, dumping baggage at Javier’s home.
- 6:30pm: Back to Javier’s home, collect baggage & move to aeropuerto T4.
- 8pm: Depart for Casar de Cáceres in bus.
- 12am: Arrive at Creofonte building in Casar de Cáceres
- 1am: Have pizzas, get into rooms & sleep!
7th:
- get up late, miss breakfast
- 10am: Day 1 begins
- Introductory talks & preliminary discussions
- 1pm: Lunch
- 3pm: Talks on related topics
- 9pm: Dinner
8th
- 8:30am – Breakfast at Churreria ( churros with hot chocolate/coffee/orange juice)
- 10am-1pm – Discussion sessions
- 1pm Lunch
- 3pm – More discussions
- 9pm Dinner
- 11pm – Wine & Cheese party!!
9th
- 7am – Early morning village tour!
- 8:30am – Breakfast at Churreria (churros with hot chocolate/coffee/orange juice)
- 10am – Discussion sessions
- 1pm – Lunch
- 3pm – Conclusion meeting
- 6pm – Keysigning party
- 9pm – Dinner
- 10pm – i18n planning meet
10th
- 3am – Alfie, Felipe, Gintas and Kenshi take taxi to the airport.
- 6:30am – Rest depart to Madrid Airport by bus.
- 11am – Arrive at airport, goodbyes & split…:(
- 4pm – Me & Jamil depart to Paris Orly
- 6:30pm – Arrive at Paris Orly, wait till 10:30 for Christian to arrive from Madrid.
- 10:30pm – Leave for bubulle’s home.
- 11pm – A small halt at Castle of Versailles, on way to Maurepas
11th
- 10am – Leave for Lyon (450kms) in bubulle’s car.
- 3pm – Arrive at INSA, Lyon venue of OOoConf
- 5pm – NLC meet
- 7pm – Leave for St Entienne (bubulle’s mom’s place for night halt)
12th
- 9am – back to Lyon at INSA.
- OOoConf talks…
- 7pm – Party by Lyon Mayor in Lyon Town Hall
- 9pm – Sightseeing around in Lyon centre
- 11pm – Get back to St Entienne
13th
- 10am – Back to Lyon
- 10:15 – Talk by Karunakar, Javier, Jamil on South, SE & East asia OOo L10n efforts
- ..More talks…& taking OOoConf mugshots
- 5pm – Conference closing session
- 6pm – Head back for Paris
- 11pm – Arrive home
14th
- 7am – Leave for Paris tour de Eiffel
- 9am – Arrive at Champ de Mars near Eiffel tower
- 10am – At level 2 on Eiffel tower
- 11am – At level 3 on tower..
- 12pm – Get down & run for metro..change 2 trains in process till Orly
- 12:40pm – Arrive at Orly Sud by Orlyval
- 2pm – Depart for Madrid
- 4pm – Arrive in Madrid T1, get boarding passes, take metro to Javier’s place
- 6pm – Some roaming around in downtown…
- 9pm – Dinner
15th
- 5:30am – Get back to Barajas T1
- 7am – Flight to Paris CDG
- 9:30am – Arrive Paris CDG 2D, run to 2A
- 10:30am – Get onto flight to Delhi!
- Kill time watching Geowatch, planes passing by!! & peeping, clicking over Black sea & Caspian sea!
- 10:30pm – Arrive in Delhi, get back home & sleep!!
16th - To JNU for Freedel.., evening party a OldMonks place!
17th - Freedel Day 2..
