No posts for a long while, lot of pending matters and fixing things.. one of it being moving hosting to another server so this blog will be offline for a while!
Few things to ponder on are like what next steps in IndLinux, and life in general!
Will be at foss.in next week from 26th-29th Nov (yes will be as delegate for a change 
. That keeps the record intact of having only participated as attendee/delegate for FOSS events this year!

After long time, happened to check my geocities account (thankfully much of content remains), and found lot of hidden gems! Like my first resume!
And another one of historical importance, when I joined FreeOS.com to start working on IndLinux fulltime… my first todo list I presented on work to be done! Definetly a gross under-estimation of the volume of task!!
Its been 8yrs now and was really long journey….And #1 is not done yet! Rest is more or less achieved (status – not uptodate)

officially i turn thirty today!.. gifting myself a 400D .. also good that india kept its record intact 
As it says.. I became an uncle, this evening my elder brother became father of baby girl.. (2nd girl to be born in our family tree in 3 generations… first one being my cousin sister (chacha ki ladki)… who is also celebrating her bday today!
Following the customary tradition of making resolutions.. here goes
1) Would try not to procastinate..!
(ok.. donno how long this will last.. since this post was to go much earlier
2) Read a book a week..
since i have gone completely out of the habit of reading a printed book.. will try reading one book a week.. for a start short stories.., self help, health.. photography etc.. tech books out for the while..(they are better read as ebooks!)
3) Learn something new each day..
this is a bit difficult thing to do with a plan in advance.. but for a start will be like studying some code on how something works,..or reading an article on wikipedia…offcourse apart from these many more things can be learned keeping an open mind!
4) Get a stronger financial base..
this typically means earn more.. how.. that is to be seen.. do consultancy projects or join a regular IT job (maintaining code than writing!).., start something.. I guess only mid-way through the year will have sense of how things go..
5) To be or not to be ( a bachelor )..
ie. get married this is something which has foxed me… considering family pressure on getting hooked.. I only wonder how it will happen.. considering my aversion to arranged marriages & my poor convincing skills to get some gal to agree …. so i hopefully hope to end the year.. remaining to be..
yesterday my delhi cell was stolen, while going in crowded bus, my first time experience of something stolen!
i only felt the loss twice once going down stairs in dark & getting up late realizing hadnt put wakeup alarm on!
life is a circle, birth, death, birth, death…etc but this circle seems to have many more, and so it happens after every few years you feel like coming back to the same place where you started (maybe a little higher, in which case its actually a spiral, but nyways simplification always helps!). so after 28yrs of existence i find myself on a new circle, where it will be much like beginning from scratch..new things to learn, new changes to happen..new places to go… & i seem to have a new circle every 5-7 yrs… the same feeling of uneasyness, uncertainity.. the realization of you are not what you can be… or the constant yearning to be different, for a better future.. & to tread on an unknown path…
let me see how it goes.. & i guess few years downline, it will be yet another new circle…
